New Journal Proposals
Versita welcomes proposals for launching new journals or bringing existing publications under our imprint. We consider proposals from all parts of the world, and in all subjects. Our particular interest are technologically innovative journals and journals in emerging or underserved fields.
Why Versita ?
Fresh approach. Versita is a new publishing house with fresh approach to journal publishing. We focus on core competences. We do ourselves only what we do best. The rest we outsource or we partner with other publishers.
Technology publisher. We focus on electronic technology. Editors use our online submission system, Editool. The journals we publish use MetaPress e-publishing solution. Our marketing is done exclusively online.
Innovative marketing. In our view, publishing begins not ends when the new article or issue appears. Versita markets the content at article level. For instance, we inform all cited authors that they have been cited.
Worldwide distribution. Versita partners with Springer. If the journal has promising economic potential, we offer it to Springer for distribution.

- Target audience
- Plans for recruiting content
- List of 10-15 published papers that would be relevant for your journal
- List of 10-15 topics or "dream" papers that you would like to publish
- Proposed launch date, number of articles per year
- Vision of where you see the journal in five years
- Publishing history (if an existing journal)
