Aims and Scope
Being continuously published from 1959, Helminthologia is the only journal in Central Europethat encompasses the individual and collaborative efforts of scientists in veterinary medicine and natural science. While still maintaining its original spirit, being a source of fresh knowledge, using comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach and addressing the most up-to date issues it has managed to earn its rightful place next to other high-quality scientific serials in its field.
Why subscribe and read
Manuscripts should be submitted to Helminthologia via the online submission system Editool available for this journal at www.helminth.editool.com. Authors should register themselves first as new users and then upload their manuscripts. In case of any technical problems, please contact the Managing Editor of Helminthologia, Zuzana Vasilková at email@example.com.
Transfer of Copyright Agreement
Submission of a manuscript indicates a tacit understanding that the paper is not actively under consideration for publication with other journals. Once the paper is accepted, authors are assumed to have transferred the copyright of the paper to the Parasitological Institute, Slovak Academy of Sciences.
After submission authors are asked to send as soon as possible the Transfer of Copyright Agreement by regular mail to the following address: Helminthologia Editorial Office, Hlinkova 3, 040 01 Kosice, Slovakia.
We greatly appreciate the time and effort given by reviewers in evaluating papers for publication in our journal. Thanks to your contribution, Helminthologia authors receive fast, fair and comprehensive review.
We encourage our reviewers to use our online submission system Editool. You may have a look at its brief description or log in at this site. To log into the system you need to use the data sent to you by Editor via email. The Editool manual for referees is available on the Editool webpage. If using the online system is not convenient for you, please contact the Editor by email.
