General information for reviewers

Your contribution

We greatly appreciate the time and effort given by reviewers in evaluating papers for publication in our journal. Thanks to your contribution, Opto-Electronics Review receive fast, fair and comprehensive reviews.

Our standards

• our reviewers are kindly requested to deliver reports in 3-4 weeks
• research papers in 8-9 weeks, unless they have needed major revision by authors
• research articles are reviewed by a minimum of two reviewers
• we pay special attention to receive unbiased, fair opinions; special policies govern allocation of reviewers to articles
• whenever a submitted paper qualifies for publication but needs revision, reviewers are asked to give comprehensive opinion on necessary improvements

We encourage our reviewers to use Editool - our online submission system. You may have a look at its brief description or log in at this site. To log into the system you need to use the data sent to you by the Editor via email. The Editool manual for referees is available on the Editool page. If using the on-line system is not convenient for you, please contact the Editor by email.
