Each article is reviewed in a double-blind review process by two independent external reviewers.

Review is submitted in writing (hard or electronic copy) to the editors.

Review clearly states whether the paper is accepted for publication or rejected. Additionally, it clearly states whether the paper

• is accepted in its present form,
• is acceptable with minor revisions (with or without further review),
• is acceptable with major revisions (with further review).

If the paper is rejected, the review clearly describes the reasons for rejection, recommends revisions and resubmission.

The review is to assess the article’s content and the quality of presentation. Therefore the following issues must be considered:

• Is the research material relevant?

• Is the content original?

• Is the presented material relevant to the subject of the paper?

• Is the approach / methodology appropriate?

• Is the theoretical / critical background presented?

• Are conclusions and interpretation sound and important?

• Is cited literature relevant and complete?

• Are the citations clearly marked following the journal Style Sheet?

• Is the structure appropriate?

• Are the ideas presented in a clear and easy to follow way?

• Is language (incl. terminology used) appropriate?

• Is language correct (without grammatical and stylistic errors)?

• Does the paper follow the journal Style Sheet?

Additionally, each review includes comments intended for the author and comments directed to the editor. Thecomments intended for the author include reviewer’s overall impression, stress major strengths and weaknesses of the article, and provide specific recommendations for revision, if applicable. Comments for the editor are confidential and include recommendation for acceptance, revisions or rejection.
