Microbial Community focuses exclusively on publishing papers in all areas of microbial population studies, including those based on small subunit analyses, and also on studies of complete metagenomes.
Microbial Community aims to be the journal of choice for submission of manuscripts involving microbial populations by providing both a rapid peer-review process and an open access policy. The aim is to enable one of the quickest turnarounds in this field, from submission to publication for articles, which meet the standards of this journal.
Microbial Community is a journal which publishes papers investigating microbial population dynamics and also metagenomics in all areas of microbiology, including both eukaryote and prokaryote studies. The aim of the journal is to act as a forum to promote understanding of both the organisms present in a population, and also the functions they carry out.
