ReviewersWe greatly appreciate the time and effort given by reviewers in evaluating papers for publication in our journal. Thanks to your input, Human Movement authors receive a rapid, fair and comprehensive review, and the journal publishes the most significant and up-to-date research articles. All manuscript received by the Editor are considered as a confidential document. Each manuscript submitted to the journal is examined for the conformity to the Instructions for Authors by the Editorial Office. Incomplete packages or manuscripts not prepared in the required style will be sent back to authors without scientific review. Only after compliance is established, will they be processed for reviewing. All papers are reviewed by 2 selected reviewers – specialists in the relevant fields. In case of contradicting reviews of two referees, the manuscript is sent to a third one. The reviewers’ identities are not disclosed to the authors. Our reviewers are kindly requested to deliver their reports within 3–4 weeks. Reviewers are asked to evaluate the manuscript according the following aspects:
When the review process is finished, a letter with the comments and suggestions of the referee(s) regarding this manuscript will be passed on to the authors. Any corrections suggested by the reviewers, should be made within the period of time indicated in the letter. If the paper is accepted after major revisions, it will be submitted again for peer review to the same evaluators. The Editor, based on the reviewers opinions (and in cases of differences of opinion between referees), makes the final decision as to whether the manuscript should be published or not.
