• Global-to-regional analysis and modeling of the hydrological cycle of the South Asian summer monsoon from intraseasonal to decadal time-scales, with focus on land-atmosphere and air-sea interactions
• Understanding of the mechanisms of aerosol-driven changes in regional hydroclimate and atmospheric circulation, especially over South Asia
