Acta Chirurgica Latviensis is a broad – based journal appearing one time per year, publishing original articles, problem – solving articles, case reports in various branches of surgery and in fields associated with surgery Since 2005 journal is published only in English (in all previous journals articles had abstracts in English). The number of copies per year is 1000. Journal is sent to 13 international libraries. Acta Chirurgica Latviensis is a possibility to publish the results of investigations for experts in their field and young specialists as well. Latvia Academy of Science has included Acta Chirurgica Latviensis as scientific journal under international review.
