Who we are
Our ambition and goal is to become the leading science publisher in Central and Eastern Europe. We publish science journals based in Central and Eastern Europe. Most of them are co-published with Springer and distributed worldwide by Springer.
We are unique in a sense that we not only focus on Central and Eastern Europe, but we also work hard to excel other publishers by being faster, more active and more online in everything we do.
Versita was established in 2001 as Central European Science Journals by Jacek Ciesielski. A graduate of the London School of Economics and the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management , has worked as a journalist, private entrepreneur, and the general manager of local subsidiaries of global corporations Hasbro and Fuji Photo Film.
