Central European Journal of Computer Science(CEJCS) published by Versita invites applications for the position of Language Editor. CEJCS provides editorial assistance to authors from non-English speaking regions. We are looking for volunteers to support us with language editing.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

• PhD student or recent PhD in computer science
• native English speaker
• familiar with LaTeX
• online: actively using the Internet

RESPONSIBILITIES

• correcting inadvertent errors, mistakes in grammar, spelling, word order and punctuation
• improving the style of English, polishing the fluency, providing internal language consistency throughout the entire paper
• clarifying parts of text where there is room for misinterpretation

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• meeting operational standards (timeliness and quality of language correction)
